PHASE ONE DESIGN PROCEDURES

We will email a rough draft of the home page to you no later than five to ten business days of the assessment, although it typically will be done in the first week. After checking the initial rough draft you will probably want some changes or refinements made. We'll make them and send you a revision, usually within a few days. Keep in mind that the more revisions we have to make the more it will delay the production schedule. Try and be as complete as you can with your feedback to minimize the number of revisions.

Written approval of the Phase One final draft must be received prior to moving to Phase 2, either using your GoClickit account login or by email. Remember that you are approving this draft to be EXACTLY the way you want your homepage to look. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE NAVIGATION OF THE SITE BE FULLY CONSIDERED so that the correct number of buttons and links will be designed into the layout. REMEMBER TO PLAN EXTRA SPACE FOR LINKS AND/OR BUTTONS, IMAGES OR AD SPACE THAT MAY BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE. Once we are in phase two, it's not always easy to change fonts, button shapes, button text (names), colors, add or remove buttons or links, etc. so make sure you are 100% satisfied with all of these items are before you approve. This is due to the fact that we initially develop your drafts in Adobe Photoshop, and you will receive them in .JPG format. After Phase 1 is approved, we won't go back and make any fundamental changes to the original Photoshop documents until after Phase 3 is done. Once this information is programmed into the database it's very time consuming to make changes after the fact. If any changes to Phase 1 are needed after the final Phase 1draft approval (for whatever reason), we will consider those changes as maintenance to your site and you can use the maintenance time included in your hosting to accomplish those changes. Otherwise, those changes will be billed at $80.00 per hour. Even if a Phase 1 item unavoidably needs to be changed (a link is no longer needed, for example) while we are in Phase 2 or 3, we will defer those changes until after Phase 3 is completed so we don't interrupt the flow of the design process. Therefore, be absolutely sure before you approve Phase One!
